Together with Bionic Sonic from Smash Mods RVLution is hosting the first Super Smash Bros. Brawl RiiFS server, complete with three major Brawl projects: ... with more projects and content scheduled to appear on the server in the future! You can download the XML here. Simply download the XML into your /riivolution folder on your SD card or USB drive (or over wifi even, on a local RiiFS server) and start Riivolution with Super Smash Bros. Brawl. You will have the option to select which game mod you wish to play, streamed over the internet live - you're always up to date. NOTE: Those with slow internet connections will experience longer load times; it should not affect main gameplay. Users still have the option of downloading the projects individually for offline play. |

| So far, so good. This has become fairly popular, and even with these users, the speed is still sweet. |

If you're looking for other stuff to add to the server, I put together a Stage Replacement Pack, which replaces every stage (well, except for two) with a hacked stage and gives most of them new music. It's a cool way to see what SSBB stage hackers have done. KC:MM thread link: http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=9142.0 The idea actually first stemmed from thinking about what could be done with Brawl over RiiFS - as in what didn't require any Ocarina codes, so it could coexist peacefully with Brawl+, BBrawl, Brawl-, etc. (There's a code in the OP that reorders the SSS, but since most Brawl modsets have their own custom SSS screens, this should be left out, as it isn't necessary.) I also made a lower-quality sound pack (22050Hz music instead of 44100Hz), to accommodate slow Internet connections. The stage pack and both versions of the sound pack are available from that KC:MM thread. The one hang-up is the custom SSS icons. I think Brawl modsets tend to have their own common5.pac files, which are where you have to put the icons for Riivolution to load them. I suppose the solution would be putting the Stage Replacement Pack XML after the other mods, so its common5 is loaded instead. |

Does this work on PAL versions? Edit: Next time, I'll test it before asking. I used a PAL version of SSBB with Brawl + and Brawl - (I prefer Brawl -) and I've noticed that you can't listen to the characters sounds. I also know how to use Brawl - offline, or download from this server, because I don't like to wait |
