Certain users, who I shall not name here (you know who you are), have ridiculously huge signatures. Two banners or more...
Advertising your hack, site or whatever project in your signature is fine. However, when you put a ton of graphics in there, and make your signature 10 times the size of your average post, something is wrong.
It looks obnoxious. The board's current layout doesn't help, but this doesn't mean you're not at fault.
It makes it impossible to read a thread quickly because you have to look for post content squished between huge signatures.
Enough of this madness.
From now on, your signature must not be more than 100 pixels in height.
Any signatures violating this rule will be removed. And of course, if you persist, we'll ban you.
Edit-
Ninjifox made a handy edit to the board's CSS. Now, if your signature is within a scrolling box, perhaps it is above the maximum size
I'll see if I can make the logo a bit smaller, but I want it to be visible so I won't be making it tiny. I guess I can erase the "Join Newer Super Luigi Wii!" thing though... _________________________
Thanks Mega-Mario, now I finally cleaned up that sig
I've never had the motivation to do so. lol _________________________

The problem is that there's no way to restrict it the hard way. You can't have the board measure the signature and choose to reject it if it's too high, atleast not on server side, since the signature height depends on how the client's browser will render it.
The best you can do is something similar to what Ninjafox did. Putting the signature in a box with a max-width and overflow:hidden;. This way, if the signature is too high, it gets cut off.
Not to mention that if we end up using bitBoard or other Acmlmboard type software for RVLution 2.0, it will become impossible as signatures will be combined with post headers to make post layouts wrapping whole posts.
Instead of putting the image of my logos, I stuffed them together in one image and gave the LINK to it. Maybe you should try it John. _________________________
