 Is there a way to get the .er files to play either in a Newer ISO or an original NSMB Wii ISO. I am using Dolphin and Wii Scrubber. When you replace a .er music file in the Newer ISO, the game stops working before the title screen shows up in Dolphin. When you take then Newer files and insert them into a fresh NSMB Wii ISO, the stages load fine, but the music does not play. I wish to have these .er music files to serve as extra music slots for the game for certain special levels, instead of using the original brstm audio that the game offers with not many tracks. I have opened the stages in the new Reggie Level Editor that supports the music IDs for the newer music files and saved them with the correct IDs for the Newer music. Is there a way? Will this work on Dolphin with ISO editing, or will it only work with Riivolution with the files being loaded from an SD card?

 You need newerdolphin and a copy of all the .er music. For the music to work in nsmbwii rename the file to .brstm for newer .er. Just rename the file the same name for example if I were to replace the snow theme for newer I would rename my file SNOW.er and replace it. Now start up newerdolphin and have fun. (We don't talk about iso or wiiscrubber)

 If you replace a .er music file in newer, the game stops working instantly. Here is an example. If I took a brstm file named Blank.brstm. I am trying to replace the athletic theme, and expect it to play on the first stage. I rename Blank.brstm to ATHLETIC.er and replace the file in Newer. I open up the stage in the newer reggie and set the ID for the music to play on that first stage, then save everything. Once I open the game, it stops working before the title screen. If I were to do this on the original NSMB with newer files inserted, nothing would play at all, because NSMB cant recognize the newer files probably. Does this only work with Newer Dolphin? If so, then how would you get it to work on Newer Dolphin. Do you replace the .er music in the newer file folders from newer dolphin? It would be helpful if a screenshot tutorial was given. Thanks for the response.

 Also you'll need the NewerSMBW Reggie Game Patch made By RoadRunnerWMC if you're using the Next Release of Reggie.

That doesn't work When I tried doing it with the next release of Reggie! the music doesn't play in the Course when I use it in NSMBWii. I have used Newer's ASM.

 Yes. For Some reason the music wont play in any course, even when the ID is set. How can this be fixed?

*cough*NO-ISO Method for Use with NewerDolphin*cough*
Go look for the Thread. That Method also allows using Newer's Hacks with Dolphin.

 I use newer without a iso on dolphin have the music folder replace one of newer and it works fine. Iso nope newer isn't that good there.

 How do you load the Newer files with Newer Dolphin. I'm unsure how to use it.

 just extract it anywhere. now load the boot.dol file and your good to go.
