Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii Holiday Special

To celebrate this years' holiday season, we have decided to make a mini-hack. The idea rolled around on 21st, first as just a single level, and then turned into an entire world. Now, here it is, in all it's snowy glory.

Hack includes
-8 full new levels,
-A few tileset pieces,
-A few retextures, including retextured World 1,
-Lots of other minor edited stuff.
-6 new themes.

Story:
Mario is on his way home from Peach's Castle on the Christmas Eve night. He notices, though, that his keys were stolen. Suspecting Larry Koopa, Mario rushes into his tower. After retrieving the keys, though, Larry escapes and raids Mario's castle. Help him get it back!

Nice job guys . I think I found a few glitches in the game though.
1. In world 1-3 , you fall through the little orange blocks near the place with the yoshi.

2.In the final castle, if you use propeller, you can fly up onto the number 2 and 3, but you will get stuck for a little while.

3.Is the cannon meant to work on world 1?

Also, how come when i try to load another super mario bros, it doesn't work? This holiday special worked fine. Any suggestions?

Another weird thing. When I loaded the game, the hold wii-mote screen came up but when the 2 button came up the whole screen blacked out so i started spamming 2. After a while it worked though.

i keep getting an error message when it tells you to hold the Wiimote sideways it says "An error occurred during the process of reading from or to the Wii system memory. Please refer to the Wii operations manual for details"

Is Newer's 2- castle changed？
This may affect the game the quality

I've been absent the past few days from the newer chat, but my assumption on the delay on the press 2 screen is due to loading of a full brsar. don't know that it got byte patched or whole file replaced

Very well done on making this, Skawo, Pop, tempus and the rest of the newer team.
I found a few bugs in it.
2 in 1-3 and 1 in 1-castle

1-3: the first orange platform you pass by, there are some parts on layer 2 and the invisible tiles for the shells are wrong placed, I can go through it.

1-castle: it appears to be that if you defeat Larry when he's high, that he'll appear above the ceiling.

Oh yeah, can I ask a few questions about the music?
The songs that are playing in 1-2 are so familair, but I can't stick a name on it, as well for
1-5 and 1-6.
And is the music from 1-castle the Ghost House song from Wario Land Shake It? It sounds so in my opinion.

Hmm...
Try to delete the files from "save" folder. Perhaps v2 of some game changes the file. If so, oh well. What version of the game do you have?

1-1 is retail
1-2 above is Mario Kart Frappe Snowland
1-2 below is Crystal King's Palace from Paper Mario
1-3 is SM64 Snowman Land
1-T is same as 1-2 below
1-4 is same as 1-2 above
1-5 and 1-6 is Alpine Pass from Mario Kart DS
1-C is Luigi's Mansion from Mario Kart DS.
The ov is playing W5 music from NSMBDS.

btw, i've discovered a giant 1-up trick in the castle. You can get 30 1-ups in a few seconds .

Hey Skawo i fixed the problem. What i did was delete everything in Another's folder except the AnotherRes folder and moved everything in anothers folder btw i have version 1 USA

Updated the holiday pack with a new blight and some minor fixes.
