I think my parents go by the mindset that if it's on a computer and if you enjoy it, it's not work, it's wasting your time (and in my dad's own words, it's a "pathetic life"). Heck, my dad restricts our Internet access so I can't be here once it hits 8:00 PM Pacific Time here, which kind of sucks because it really limits what I can do.
Terrorism in general keeps happening. Well, I think it's particular worrisome that France faced a LOT of terrorist attacks (I even wonder if StapleButter is okay) and now it's Belgium. It's only last year we got Charlie Hebdo, the Paris attacks, AND the crap in between.
it's a hobby, so personally i think it's a little of both
work because it requires a lot of effort, play because it's something you enjoy and do on your own time
I also think I'm contributing something to this world, so I think it's something a little more meaningful than a hobby. I don't like how my parents don't really appreciate what we do because that stuff is REALLY tiring. And I'm not even modeling or texturing, I'm just setting up the model to be compatible as a ragdoll for Source in Garry's Mod! But no, it's "playtime". Ugh.

Kinda scary, as Brussels, Brussel or Bruxelles is not too far away from where I live, and the chances of a terroristic attack in the Netherlands continue to rise. Some ideologists think we should be dead because we don't agree with them; I think they should build their nice little state in the Middle East somewhere, and leave others alone.
It's hard for to believe how much hate these... monsters have. I think they should be shot into outer space and make a colony in Venus because that's where they belong, and no one wants their sick minds here.

Oh, man I remembered that I had a particularly awful dream where I'm with Dad and his family and he and them ridiculed me for loving Mario and playing video games, but it was mostly him. He called me a liar right in front of his family members and all other sorts of hideous things. I tried running to him and attacking him, but he slapped me, held me down, was smothering and strangling me, and I was shrieking and crying out for my sister. I woke up, but I was breathing hard and I started to cry a little bit. |

Drama can be entertaining
But obviously, when it gets to the point where someone's gonna get banned, the drama definitely needs to stop. Honestly, if a deleted thread turns into an argument, and it drags over to TS, then it needs to get stopped.
This should have been stopped before Fruit smasher got banned.

Have you tried looking in the Control Panel to see if you can turn it off? Of course, if a password is required, then I don't know what to say but, it's worth a try. I remember doing this one time when my parents tried this on me a couple of years ago. I then one day found a piece of paper with a password on it. I tried it out on the computer and got access to everything so I was able to turn all the parental stuff off. My parents gave up on that plan after that xD.

we have total control of our computer, it's just that we've been firewall blocked or some crap

as a last-resort thing, you can hard-reset the router, all the routers have that sort of thing: insert a pin into a little hole for like 30s and it's all reset to the factory defaults

Speaking of GMod: I'm going to get a Steam Wallet Card soon (you know, the cards they sell at your local retailer where you can redeem them for money in your Steam Wallet), and I know I'm going to get Geometry Dash, but I think I'm gonna have some money left.
