 How do you add custom music with .er files?

 You add the custom music just as you would normally (with BB making .brstm file). Then once you save it you close BB and rename the file from .brstm to .er. Done!

 You can't use er files if you don't want to replace a level in Newer.

 You'll need Newer Hacks for that. When you have your .er file, name it something (let's say AUTUMN.er for example.) That AUTUMN.er file is the Goldwood Forest level music. So in your level that you want custom music on, tell the level to play "Autumn". It should then work.

 So if I mod Reggie and use Python coding so when you select music you write a path to the .er file location on your computer to make it play in the level not replacing Newer?

 No, not possible, you would have to modify NSMBW's code to do that.

That's what you think! just because Treeki has not made any posts or updates on Koopatlas or some other program does not mean he stopped working on them! i honestly can wait. but if u want to bug treeki or skawo about it then go right ahead.

 We shouldn't rely on someone or some people to make our hack amazing. Heck, we don't even know if these things will be worked on or not or if we will ever receive them. It would be best to not raise your hopes and just be creative with what we have. Improvising creates intelligent people, or so I heard.
