Request: Full-mod Package

Request: Full-mod Package

Postby TobiasAmaranth on Mon Jul 05, 2010 6:44 am

Requesting a nice detailed XML that lets me customize every costume, stage, music, and other detail, as well as flag between main mods to the game. I believe someone out there has a download. I'd love to have one set up with the main popular costumes and stage replacements.

Much appreciated. Will make it fun to show off.

Mine is ugly, you don't want it (also, I have a feeling I deleted/lost everything but the XML).

Someone on EFnet was doing a complete set of everything up to date from the KC-MM Brawl Vault, but I haven't heard from them in a long time. That kind of stuff gets pretty large, this was just after the vault launched and each character was ~70MB.

If this is going to happen, a dedicated project needs to start. It takes effort just to make it, as well as keep it updated. If anyone's up to it, I'll gladly help out. It might be possible to script part of it, though it's hard to come up with a totally automated solution.

I just am looking for the popular stuff (the stuff that doesn't look absolutely terrible, y'know?), and an XML that can handle most toggles. I'm just tired of booting up Brawl with the SD method and not having a clue what's even being swapped, because it's been so long. Plus I don't think I ever got it working on portrait swaps for menus and the like.

Is this what you're wanting?

It's basic, just an XML, and you'll have to do some work, but it might be something manageable. Better than nothing.
