As you may or may not know, I make Danmakufu scripts. Danmakufu is an engine to create shmups similar to
Touhou. Now, the thing is, I planned on creating yet another game based around RVLution. This time, it's
a script for Danmakufu (also called DNH, for short). Progress on this is going well. Check the spoiler
below to see how much has been made, as well as some screenshots. A demo of stage 1 has been released as
well, so be sure to play it please. I would appreciate it, if my work would not go to waste.

Ideas are very welcome at any point, since I quickly run out of bullet patterns for DNH.
I am happy to announce that I am almost done with the gameplay stuff. Messageboard Takeover will only include one difficulty level which
should be around regular Touhou's Normal mode. The only thing left really is the stage part of the Extra Stage. And because I'm
lazy I'm gonna do a really cheap way of unlocking it. You'll see.

Now, I polished stage 1 completely and I figured I'd show it off. Normally, a Touhou demo contains stages 1 through 3, but blah. Here are quick
instructions on how to set up the package (provided by Helepolis, ignore the Notepad++ part) and play the game (provided by me). I'm sure you know
how to use Google, so I won't provide a link to Microsoft Applocale here.
Now, once you set up Applocale you're ready to play.
The key configuration is as follows: Z (Y for QWERTZ keyboards) - Shoot/Next Message (dialogue)/Confirm (menu). X - Bomb/Cancel (menu). Left Shift - Focus (will be explained later) Backspace - Reset Script Arrow Keys - Move
GAMEPLAY-WISE INSTRUCTIONS
Now, the player script contains two characters, Satori Komeiji and Koishi Komeiji both with individual shot types and bombs.
Normally, you use Satori, focusing switches to Koishi. You can also bomb while focused. Focus Mode slows you down, but has
a more powerful shot type. It's helpful for precise dodging. Pressing Z releases a small barrage of shots. It may be held down
for constant fire.
The HUD on the right: Score - Your score. Rises through collection of items and capturing spellcards (no bomb no death, boss is shot down during spellcard). Graze - Graze counter. To graze bullets, touch them with your sprite but not with the hitbox (shown by a red ball when focused). Player - Lives. Don't get confused. Life 00 = 1, 01 = 2, 02 = 3 etc. Spell - Bombs. Each life starts you out with 3 bombs. Power Display - The small display beneath the bombs. Rises through collection of red P items. You 'level up' every 32 power levels. You lose 32
levels when you die.
Alright, so that's all you need to know to play the game I guess. If you have any problems or questions, please ask. In order to run the script, open th_dnh.exe, go to 'Stages' and select 'Stage 1'. Have fun!

I'd need to add toast bullets to the shotsheet, but that shouldn't be a problem. There's still plenty of space.
Toast sounds more like it'd fit for a midboss. Also you need to provide a title and a proper image that you want
your sprite/cut-in to be based off. _________________________
