3 weeks ago, my 5 year old niece came over and tried playing New Super Mario Bros Wii. She immediately grasped the concept but the amount of enemies and obstacles were a little ahead of how fast she could think. I noticed she did very well at stopping and thinking, THEN moving foward to tackle an obstacle but she only took one challenge at a time. Also, she could not get the coordination down to use the sprint or twirl button while playing. So it gave me an idea! CHILDREN'S SUPER MARIO BROS WII! For ages 4 and up! Levels will be short and simple. They will be designed around facing one obstacle at a time. Every level will be totally passable without the use of the sprint of twirl button. This will be a 1 world hack. But each world's theme will be represented in a level. (1-8) So world 1 will be the entire game, with Bowser at the last castle. Perfect challenge for ages 4-8ish.. Ok. I can't get MArio to enter the stage perfectly all the time.. You click the Door thing on the Palette to place an entrance Make sure its not too close to the edge of the zone!  (if you don't know)And whenever I send him through a pipe to a different zone, I get a black screen. Go Here: https://rvlution.net/thread/103 Help? I just did

Your Welcome! EDIT: Also for the Castle don't put bowser there. Just use larry. Im not good at making Towers/Castle Levels so ask someone that can help you with that. You WILL go to World 2 but you can Replace 2-1 and 2-2 with a Wall and a Exit. Use this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mxxi Its a Level so you don't go past 2-2 or 2-1

| Bowser is harder to beat than Larry. I suggest Larry. If i made a 1 world hack i would NEVER put bowser. Just stick with Larry! Using Bowser is even worse in my Opinion. |

Plus, with Bowser you have to do all that extra jazz for the second part. :\ Not sure that this is exactly what we wanted when we said 'make an original hack', but okay. |

| You said you want it good for kids aged 5-8 well bowser will be hard to beat. Larry is easy for kids to beat. |

Well, I like the idea. If you're having any trouble with level designing, PM me! I'd love to help you. @MalStar, this is at least a concept not heard before. Ps: my mum isn't that good with NSMBW too, so perhaps this is suited for elders who don't have a lot of experience with NSMBW. |

| well as you can see in the video there are tiling erros that can't be oversee but well since it might be your first attempt. Also having some background objects might be good. |

Hey i took the advice. Im making my own hack. Im just starting small for my first time. I did forget about background objects. Ill do them. Suggestions on improving tiling? I see people say tiling errors but i never see them myself lol |
