It’s finally arrived! The Newer Team is proud to present Newer Super Mario Brothers Wii! Thousands of hours, three and a half years in the making, the ultimate and definitive New Super Mario Bros. Wii mod is now available for download.

Features:

  • Over 130 all new levels
  • The return of a classic Mario powerup
  • Completely new world map system, redesigned from the ground up
  • 8 major worlds and several minor ones, spanning 18 themed areas
  • 34 new bonus houses, including two never seen before mini-games
  • 21 new titlescreens that show depending on your game progress
  • Over 150 new tilesets to enhance the visual appeal of the game
  • 40 fresh and new backgrounds to match the world themes
  • More than 35 original music tracks to create a memorable Newer score
  • And another 20 arranged favourites to bring that Mario zip
  • Remixed versions of every song for the 'hurry up' music
  • Completely redone User Interface and layouts for every part of the game

UPDATES:
Game is now updated to version 1.03. This one has been stable for quite a while now, and even though it has a couple bugs we know about, we strongly recommend updating to this version if you're currently playing on any other.

Also, riivolution works on the WiiU now. Unfortunately, it seems that the Wii mode on the WiiU is slighly broken, so you may experience more slowdown in the game than if you played it on a normal Wii.

 I think the wait was worth, this is an awesome mod. And I dare say I dont need NSMBU after I played newer
