Kirby's Dream Land 3 - Cookie by enixd
Submitted at 12:42:05 pm, 29 Feb 2012
I decided to port this tileset and at the same time experiment with Puzzle. I used this tileset on a Lunar Magic Hack I made. The flowers are missing, and also the side entrance tiles. If someone tells me how to keep the flowers and grass animated, I'll add them. If there are mistakes, please comment. The original tileset was submitted by Weeabuu on smwcentral.net.

It's not possible yet to animate the flowers because they are saved in a LZ file or something similar. It can't be edited. So my tip is to use the flower from the reggiedata folder. There is something like a layer for Pa0 tilesets in the level editor. There I would cut out the grass and the flowers and set them in the tileset.
If you have done it you can set invisible spin jump coins in front of the flowers.

The flowers are hard coded into the game... You place a tile and the game engine replaces that image with a 3d model. It can be done with haxxors, but not as easily as you might imagine

@pop006, does the object number in Puzzle tell the game to put the 3d-object? If I took a standard tileset, and placed the kirby one over it but made sure to leave the flower and grass to their assigned object numbers, would that work? What about recoloring the grass-do I do that in the tileset file, or some other like backgrounds?

Ok, it is possible but Pop said it already that it's not easy. I'm sure that an object number doesn't change something. It is coded and that means the code must be changed for replacing the tile with a 3D model.

@joietyfull - I meant the standard flowers - like his tileset Dirty, which he said is basically nohara, keeps the standard flowers and grass.

Yes, that's meant. If you don't know how to change the code you just get the animation with naming it Pa1_nohara.arc I think.
