Another noob

Hi everyone, Im Ryan.

Just discovered Riivolution and Reggie yesterday and decided that this is something certainly worthy enough to hack my Wii for Skawo's "Another" looks like great fun too, and I'm looking forward to "Newer".

Kudos to all who contributed to Guidelines for creating a good level - Been playing Mario for 20 years now but doesn't hurt to have a checklist.

Is it sad that I've already started mapping out my 1st level on graph paper?

Cheers for the welcome Nentindo Must admit I'm completely overwhelmed by the amount of information that's been compiled here, and by the Wii Hackers community in general. Looks like a fantastic effort.

I'll have a steep learning curve ahead of me though I already know XML and Photoshop, and I've dabbled in creating sprites before. I just need to knuckle down and learn to use Reggie whilst not being tempted by the hundreds of NSMB levels posted online

creating sprites just means the graphics, in almost all cases. spriting is also a word used for it.
