If not BRSTMs to use in NSMBWii hacks, could I at least have mp3s so I can listen to them on my iPod?

They said you are free to use all the custom music as long as you give them credit as far as I know..

please can i ask for a little help?
just found your 'newer' version through youtube...
i have a japanese wii with a japanese copy of nsmb wii
installed homebrew, installed riivolution, no problem. 'another' works fine from my sd card but when i try to run 'newer' from the same card the screen goes black after the wii remote screen. i have left it for 5 minutes and nothing happens.
i have the 2 folders from the rar file on the root of my card, and as with one of the posts above, i put the contents of the 'newer' archive into the 'riivolution' folder i already had for 'another'
if anyone could tell me where i am going wrong i would really appreciate it

Hmm. Try going into the riivolution folder, and opening "XmasJ.xml" in notepad.
Then delete this line: <memory offset="0x80117D7C" value="38000003" />

Save and try again.

If you do have that as well, try deleting 01-40.arc from /Stages

i have Pa2_mariocastle.arc

..and the folder is 'XmasNewer/Stage...not Stages

is that ok??

downloaded rar file from http://www.newerteam.com/ and put it straight onto my hd card, which plays 'Another' via riivolution...
'newer' is in my riivolution menu, enabled then wii remote screen...black and frozen

Oh, that's right Pa2_kori is just the retail one.

And yes, it should be /Stage. Try deleting 01-40.arc.

Also; make sure you're not enabling both Another and XmasNewer.

i deleted 01-40.arc. and i have 'another' diasbled but still getting blackness...

Try undoing all of the changes I mentioned (i.e redownload the pack) and delete OpeningJ/openingtitle.arc
