It worked! Thank you!

I only have one other question: Where do I put my codes? In the codes folder? If so, that's not working for me.
Also, did I name it right?(SMNE01.gct)

Well, here are codes for NSMBWii(NTSC) http://www.geckocodes.org/index.php?c=SMNE01
Btw, do you know how I can texture things? I'm from KC-MM(Brawl Hacks) and I know how to texture hack from BrawlBox, but I'm wondering how to do NSMBWii textures.

Also, can someone try out my first stage I made? It freezes:

Hello! I looked up a tut about editing the title logo, I did everything it said, and then it froze.
What happened? If you need any details of what I did, I will tell you. Right now I have to go. Hope someone can reply!

Can someone tell me what number in Reggie is the lightning hazard at the sides of 06-38.arc when you fight Bowser Jr. and you get to fly in his little ships?
I need the number of the lightning rod hazard and the number of Bowser Jr.'s Mini airships.
I'm trying to create a mini-game. ;)

i think they are asm or level mechanics and not sprites, therefore un-editable through reggie, much like castle boss gimmicks.
anyone know whats up with my problem yet?

mzaslove. to work you have to move the entry two boxes below, if you leave the entry in the same place does not start the game. If it's the answer to what you asked. and the rays are numbered not only works in battle bowser jr

This folder doesn't seem to have the required files. In order to use Reggie, you need the Stage folder from the game, including the Texture folder and the level files contained within it.

OK

That's the error I get after choosing 'stages' as the folder.
I chose to get the bare minimum for Reggie! with the reggiedumper. All the stages are in that folder, so IDK why Reggie! won't open.

Hi - just wanted to check what the quickest method is to create/test/edit a level. At the moment, I create a new level, transfer it to the SD card, insert in Wii and start RVLution. Then start the game and test the level. To edit, I quit to the main home screen, remove the SD card and repeat.

My query is really this - can you have NSMB loaded from RVLution and insert/remove the SD card and have your modifications loaded? Or does the custom level you created get "overlaid" at start up?

thanks.

Alrighty so! I downloaded the "Default Text Tileset Mod" and took them and replaced them with the originals under reggie/stage/texture in my sd card. The tilesets pop up in Reggie when i'm making levels, but when I try and play a level that makes use of the text, it always freezes on a black screen right after the level selection. What's happening? Can I fix it?

Oh, and this is for mindstorms ^^
I do not believe that is possible. I've tried to just exit the level and go make a change to the .arc file on reggie and then pop the sd card back in with NSMBW already loaded. It froze up and yeah, not good. I don't suggest it, and to my understanding there's not a faster way other than the riivolution way.

Hey, so SmashClash! I took a look at your level and it seems to me like there's no entrance, thus the level won't load. I'm guessing you'll get a black screen and have to unplug the wii every time the level freezes? Yeah, it happened to me too. What you want to do is add an entrance into the level (Click on the door-looking tab in reggie, next to the sprites tab and then right click in the level to add an entrance) Some tips: Make sure the entrance is set to normal, and everything else is set to 0, and "Enterable" is checked. If it still doesn't load, try to cut down on the amount of sprites because it seems that there is a whole bunch of stuff going on, maybe a bit too much for the game to process. Also, you need a foundation for the level. After looking through it on reggie i didn't find any ground at the beginning, so when the level ends up loading all of the sprites will fall out of the zone, and you will probably lose a life. Just get something out of the tileset (such as that beach tileset) and just create something under everything in order to keep it from falling. If you have any more questions just feel free to ask. Peace out man, hope this helped :)

Thanks stratman. That was the early part of my stage when I didn't know what the layers were about, but now I do. I have a bunch of better stuff another area, etc. Do you think you could test out this one? This was suppose to be the Final Version of my stage, but it loaded to a black screen. Maybe you could test it out. Also, thanks for replying here's my almost final version.

I'm guessing I need to check the beginning entry to enterable.

Hey, I took a look at the level and there are great improvements! Still I have found some errors that may be causing the level to crash at the beginning. First off, your entrance is a bit close to the zone edge. You may want to extend the zone a few blocks just to be safe. Also, at the beginning, (like I said before) there isn't any "foundation" or ground to hold those boxes up, so my theory is (when the level is working) that they will just fall out of the screen. Just some more helpful advice: The giant rolling spike ball does not need a guided path node, it will just roll down the hill on its own. And the "Line Controlled Fuzzies" are not Path Node controlled either. The way to direct the Fuzzies is to go into the Area settings and then set the interactive suite to "Normal Line Guides & Fences". This will give you a fourth tileset that you can select and draw line guides for any line-controlled sprites. If the zone extension doesn't solve your problem, just let me know and I can try my best to decipher the problem! Best of wishes, peace man

Alright, I'll try that tomorrow thanks man and I'll let you know how it goes.
Also, Idk how to make the blocks at the beginning make it so you don't fall through. It's on Layer 1 so why would it be fall through?

Yep, no problem! Uhh, should I just send it to you via email or put it on mediafire or just tell you what to do? It may get complicated, I've had these kind of problems before and sometimes it just requires remodeling almost the entire level map. I will take a look at it and do some testing and just get back to me on how you would like me to get the info back to you! If you need my email, just ask!
