The title screen now works and has the new grassland textures. I can get to the world map but not the levels I edited. My avatar describes how I feel about my Wii right now.

Levels go in nsmb, and tilesets go in nsmb/texture. I'll send you a PM.

you need the "movement controller-use lines" sprite and match the movement ID with the platforms you want to move on the lines, and layer 1 is correct

You can't load any backgrounds into Reggie! yet but you can match backgrounds to your level zones. Simply choose custom background in the background list and enter the ID of your custom background. If you haven't customized Reggie! it will be shown a picture which tells you no preview. That doesn't matter. If your custom background works well, you can see in your level then.

there isnt really more to do o.o, for example: the platform should have a movement ID you can set, set it to 1 and then put the movement controller- use lines somwhere in the zone, and set the movement ID on the movement controller to 1, too. if you did a line(like a circle for example) and put the platform on it, it should work.

No one told me 1- that alot of the fish dont work if you paint a sprite background behind them, and 2 - that water levels are generally left to right levels,

The Notes for some of the fish tell you lol. I always read the Notes and hover over each text box, dropdown box, and checkbox for tooltips for every sprite I use. Will save you time.

My game didn't freeze there. I'm testing your level with RiiFS. It's a pain. When I get to the platform, I get on it and it falls to death. We're using sprite 106, line guided platform. There isn't any space for movement id. I use Sprite 236 Movement Controller - Use Lines and i set the id to 25. There isn't any movement id slot in sprite 106. Could someone please help? I've attached the level. Same thing with my other level.

I've looked at the levels in Reggie and couldn't see anything wrong with the line/platform but I haven't used them much before... I can't remember exactly how they should be set up. Look at an original Nintendo level there has to be some clues in there how it should be done. Sorry.

Wii scrubber talk, Wii scrubber talk, Wii scrubber talk. I'm kidding, I don't even know what Wii scrubber is. Also I fixed the line guided platforms.

How did you fix them, might I ask? When I looked at the file I couldn't figure out why you were having issues (I didn't play test it).

I recommend always looking at how Nintendo did it.
For the line-guided platforms: there's no need for a movement controller, you just have to place them right, which is, one tile to the left from the line, all other tiles to the right.

I'm having a strange issue with my quicksand. The behavior is very odd. When entering the quicksand from above you will simply fall straight down through it as if it weren't there... but if you were to jump up into it behaves correctly. This is happening on a custom tileset. I do have Object 24 painted where the quicksand is and the two tiles are set to the same as they are in the original sabaku tileset.

Anyone know what the issue is? Is there functionality hardcoded into Pa1_sabaku?

EDIT: ok not entirely sure I had the issue to begin with now... but I recreated the tileset using the sabaku tileset as a base and didn't touch the quicksand object. Upon testing I thought it was same, not working. Until I realized I was falling though it because I was standing on a falling platform.

Apparently you'll go right down through it if you are standing on them. :?
