Things Yoshi Does NOT Work With List

Apologies if this has been mentioned but i noticed that when using floating barrels with yoshi, they will not roll as like when mario stands on them....they just stay solid.

I'm 100% sure that there is a list of behaviours to objects. But not sure if there's an actual list of objects that are considered enemies.

Bit late but Yoshi can eat chests at an ambush. This is a funny glitch. You'll stuck in the level because you can't get the reward because Yoshi has eaten the Chest. Toad don't wanna get eaten so he jumps out the chest and jumps up and down in the air on Yohis head.

Yoshi can't move and the time holds on. Also the music is off then.

The second Glitch there is that you can jump off Yoshi then. Spin and you can run through the level like you want. Without music and time limit.

Unfortunately you can't get away from the level when it is an ambush or something like that.

help me i have custom music when i ride on yoshi it makes 2 of every sound makes it sound STRANGE

Yoshi can eat mega-wigglers (!!) but not normal ones. The problem with this is there is no animation when Yoshi "eats" a mega-wiggler, it just disappear when you fling the tounge out. So, in other words....DON'T USE MEGAWIGGLERS AND YOSHI IN THE SAME LEVEL!!!!!!! (looks terrible)

Just reading that post let me remember another similar bug. It's the giant icicle. Yoshi can eat it too like every other little icicles. The problem with giant icicles is that you will be catapulted if you eat one, even higher than you can be catapulted with a portable spring. That's really crazy but you shouldn't try it because it's really hardly controllable what happens in your flight and it looks quite buggy.

The thing with the poison water and Yoshi applies to lava as well. It counts as a hit and you fly off Yoshi. Yoshi can stand in poison water and lava and not die as well. I have a test level with rising and falling of those types and he is still there after I drop him in and the liquid falls.

How many times could you get Yoshi in the real game, like 4. I always wondered why he wasn't really used. This is why.

Yoshi appeared in 1-3, 2-5, 3-2, 4-5, 6-4 and in 7-5 I think, so 6 times.

I wish they would have used him more in the game. 4 out of 88 levels he shows up in is a pretty small number. At the very least you would think he work in the water.
